A Day at the Park

While Jared was mowing the lawn today, I took Kathryn to Owen Bell Park near our house.  When we got there, low and behold, there was a big carnival going on.  We parked the car and went to the park.  We played on the playscape and swings and then we got some ice cream.  I was going to take Kate on the carousel, but she smelled like she'd pooped, so we went home.  (Turns out, it was just gas.  It's okay.  We needed to come home anyway.)  It was fun hanging out with her and I ran into one of my old students who's now in 6th grade.  I guess I'm getting old!

When we got home, she was all smiles and being a big goof.
