Family Pictures

We wanted a picture for our Christmas card this year so we decided to head out to the backyard and give it a shot.  It actually turned out great (except for Jared's awful beard!).

Third Birthday

Kathryn turned three exactly a week ago.  It's hard to believe that three years ago this amazing little person entered our lives.  I never thought I'd be a mother, but I'm so glad I am and I'm so glad I'm Kathryn's mother. 

We had a little party with family friends.  She was very excited about it, but when people got there, she was so shy and wouldn't even blow out her candles.  Poor Kathryn.  Still, it was great to celebrate with those that mean the most to us here in Connecticut.  We wish our family in Arizona could've celebrated with us.  Maybe someday. 

Kathryn got a lot of wonderful presents and she was very excited when she opened our gift and saw Harmony Bear.  She's been asking for Harmony Bear for a while now and she was happy to get it.  We also got her a tricycle, which she has been enjoying. 

I can't believe my baby is three.  I love watching her grow.

Halloween!

This post is a little late, but my computer is driving me crazy and it's awful trying to do anything on it.  I did get a new laptop last weekend, but the pictures for this post are on my old one, so I'm going to attempt to post now!

We had a nice Halloween.  Kathryn was so aware of it this year and so excited.  She went as Wonderheart Bear, which is kind of fun, since I went as Funshine Bear exactly 30 years ago.  It was a chilly night, but she was nice and warm in her Care Bear outfit.  She really loved all the candy she got too.  She's a junkfood junkie, just like her mom!

More Backyard Pictures

Kathryn and I were home yesterday for Veterans' Day.  It was a good day, but it also made me realize what I'm missing when she's at daycare and I'm at work.  Still...we made the best of a chilly morning and took some pictures outside.  I have to say...my daughter is one beautiful littler girl.
