Everybody Loves Raymond

I have been a terrible blogger and I'm sad that news like this is what has brought me back.  This morning Raymond Parenteau passed away.  He truly was a remarkable man who made us feel like part of the family.  Being so far away from family, we have been blessed to have been adopted by the Parenteau family.  From the moment we met Raymond, he made us feel loved and welcomed.  He always had a new dirty joke to tell us whenever we'd see him and he made me laugh so much.  There are truly special people in this world that just make it a better place and he was one of them.  I feel privileged to have known him and we will miss him so much.  There are so many good memories that will keep us smiling, but I am saddened that there won't be anymore.  Here's to you, Raymond.  We love you.
